What the site is
XVideos is one of the largest international video sites, with user and studio uploads in many languages. Each video has an address like /video.<id>/<title>, plus an embed form at /embedframe/<id>. The id is a string of lowercase letters and digits. Links inside category pages carry extra numbers in the path, and the site redirects them to the plain form, so both shapes lead to the same id.
Are subtitles available?
Uploads normally come without subtitle tracks. The extension generates subtitles from the audio, so it works regardless of what the uploader provided.
How to use the extension on this site
- Install the extension and sign in with your license key.
- Open the video page and start playing.
- Pick the subtitle language, then press the subtitle badge on the player.
- Open a video page and press play. The video is recognised by its id in the address, on both the normal page and the embed frame.
- Ad frames around the player are ignored and never get a subtitle badge.
- The site has several domains (xvideos.com, xvideos2.com, xvideos.es, xvideos3.com and regional ones); all of them are covered.
- On a normal page the adapter requires the id in the address and the id in the player's page data to match. For an embed frame it uses the id from the frame address and the page data together.
- The slug after the id is translated by the language versions of the site, but the id stays the same, so the subtitles are shared across them.
- The film is the single player element with a blob source. Video elements that come from advertising networks are marked as ads and skipped.

- Verified on 2026-10-22: subtitle lines appeared from about 20 seconds into a video, and the job covered the full length.
- Clicking a related video is not treated as a special case, so the extension simply recognises the new page.
- Domains measured as returning the same video and embed frame: xvideos.com, xvideos2.com, xvideos.es, xvideos3.com, xvideos-india.com and xvideos-ar.com. The premium site xvideos.red is a different service and is not covered.
- An address missing the slug, or in the old format with no dot after video, returned not found when measured, so the extension does not accept those shapes.

Choose the target language in the extension: Vietnamese, Indonesian, Spanish and English are the main ones, and the translation API also supports Chinese, Korean, Thai, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian, French, German, Hindi, Arabic and Turkish.

The badge belongs to a single video. Category and search pages have no video id, so the extension waits until you open a specific video.
