How to Watch JAV With English Subtitles in Five Steps

Step 1: Install the extension

Open the install page and follow the instructions for your browser and operating system. The installer adds the extension to a desktop browser; there is nothing to install on the video site itself.

After installing, pin the extension icon to the toolbar. You will use it once per session to check that you are signed in and to see how much free generation time is left for the day.

The free plan includes unlimited use of subtitles that are already cached, plus a daily allowance of new AI generation, so you can try a video before deciding on a paid plan.

Step 2: Open a video in the browser

Go to the site where you normally watch and open the title as usual. The extension does not host or list videos, so it has nothing to show until you open a player yourself.

Wait until the video element is on the page. On some sites the real player loads only after you press play or accept a notice, and the extension picks it up at that moment.

If the site opens the video inside a frame from another domain, the extension still finds it as long as the player is a normal HTML5 video element. Pop-up adverts and pre-roll clips are ignored, so subtitles are only requested for the real film once it starts.

Step 3: Watch JAV with English subtitles by choosing English

A small button appears over the player. Press it to start. In the extension popup, set the target language to English. The source language is detected automatically, so Japanese speech is recognised without any extra setting.

The first lines usually appear after a short wait while the beginning of the audio is transcribed and translated. Playback does not need to be paused; later lines are prepared ahead of the position you are watching.

Step 4: Adjust how the subtitles look

Open the style options to change font size, move the block up or down, and set the background opacity. A darker background helps on bright scenes, and a lower position keeps the text out of the way of on-screen text.

If you want to see both languages together, turn on bilingual display. It is part of the paid plans.

Step 5: Fix a line or jump back

If you missed a sentence, use the keyboard shortcut to jump to the previous subtitle line instead of dragging the progress bar. When a line is clearly wrong, you can suggest a correction, and the video is paused while you type it.

Subtitles that were generated once are stored and reused, so watching the same title again, or a friend opening it with the same extension, does not start from zero.
