What the site is
TokyoMotion (tokyomotion.net) is a user-upload video site with Japanese adult and amateur clips. Each clip has a numeric address like /video/<number>, optionally followed by a title slug. If the slug is missing or wrong the site redirects to the correct one, so the number alone identifies the clip. The player is part of the page itself and has an embed form at /embed/<hash> on the same domain.
Are subtitles available?
Uploads normally have no subtitles. The extension generates them from the audio of the clip.
How to use the extension on this site
- Install the extension and sign in with your license key.
- Open the video page and start playing.
- Pick the subtitle language, then press the subtitle badge on the player.
- Open the clip and press play. A video ad may run first on the same player; the extension waits and only creates subtitles for the real clip.
- The subtitle badge appears on the clip, not on the ad.
- Clips shorter than two and a half minutes are not subtitled automatically, because short videos are often ads. The badge still lets you start subtitles by hand for a short clip you do want.
- Opening another clip reloads the page and starts a new session.
- The extension reads the clip number from the address and confirms it against the page itself (the player element, the page metadata and the script that sets the video number). If any of them disagree it does nothing.
- Because the clip title is typed by the uploader, the adapter never tries to derive a product code from it. The clip number is the only key.
- The ad is recognised even when it plays on the very same player element as the clip, by looking at where the current source comes from. A source from the site's own servers is treated as the clip.
Good to know
- Verified on 2026-10-22: a subtitle line appeared on a 75-second clip.
- live.tokyomotion.net is a different product and is not covered.
- Only tokyomotion.net and www.tokyomotion.net are listed. The apex address redirects to www. A similar site named osakamotion.net uses the same software but has a different catalogue, so it is not included. The mobile address returned not found.
- A source that comes from an unknown host on the clip's player is not declared to be the film, since that has not been measured.
Subtitle languages
Choose the target language in the extension: Vietnamese, Indonesian, Spanish and English are the main ones, and the translation API also supports Chinese, Korean, Thai, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian, French, German, Hindi, Arabic and Turkish.
FAQ
Why did a short clip get no subtitles?
Subtitles are not started automatically for clips shorter than two and a half minutes, since short videos are often ads. You can still start them by hand from the badge.
Does the ad get subtitles?
No. Ads are detected and skipped; the badge shows only for the clip.
Does it work on tokyomotion.net only?
Yes, the main site (with or without www). The live subdomain is excluded.
Can I still get subtitles on a short clip?
Yes. Automatic generation is limited to videos of at least two and a half minutes, but a short clip is not blocked: use the badge to start it yourself.
Do embedded TokyoMotion players work on other sites?
The embed address on tokyomotion.net itself is handled as a player. Its hash differs from the clip number, so for those the page identity has to come from the surrounding page data, and a bare embed may not be recognised.
Does the adapter treat osakamotion.net the same way?
No. That site shares the software but not the catalogue: the same number gives a different or missing clip, so it is left out on purpose.
Which languages can I choose?
Any target the translation service supports, including English, Vietnamese, Indonesian and Spanish. Amateur clips often have quiet or noisy audio, so results vary with sound quality.
