What the site is
Jav.Guru (jav.guru) is a WordPress-based Japanese adult-video site. A title page shows details such as the product code in a Code field, and the stream opens after you press a STREAM button. Pages are addressed by a numeric WordPress post id followed by a slug. The www form redirects to the bare domain. javguru.com (a live-cam site) and javguru.biz are different sites and are not covered.
Are subtitles available?
Subtitles are not provided on the site itself. The extension creates them from the audio on screen, in the target language you select.
How to use the extension on this site
- Install the extension and sign in with your license key.
- Open the video page and start playing.
- Pick the subtitle language, then press the subtitle badge on the player.
- Open the title and press STREAM, then play. Pressing a STREAM button inserts a frame from the same site (a path starting with /searcho/), and pressing play there loads the real player from a host such as javclan.com or javship.tv.
- Video elements on the main page are banner and cam-widget ads, not the film. They are never treated as the title.
- The title is tracked by the post number in the address, which the extension checks against the page (body class, article id and canonical link) before it starts. A mismatch means no job is started.
- The product code in the Code field is not used as the key for this site, because the site's host is not in the extension's code rules. The post number is the key instead. Posts with two product codes in the slug, such as compilation titles, are not forced into a single code for the same reason.

- Beta: Jav.Guru is behind Cloudflare checks and our automated test could not open it on 2026-10-22. The adapter exists and is unit-tested; the project owner is testing it by hand.
- Player hosts javclan.com and javship.tv were added so the extension can attach inside the final player frame.
Subtitle languages
Choose the target language in the extension: Vietnamese, Indonesian, Spanish and English are the main ones, and the translation API also supports Chinese, Korean, Thai, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian, French, German, Hindi, Arabic and Turkish.
FAQ
Why is there no badge before I press STREAM?
The film only exists after you press STREAM; the video elements before that are ads.
Does the product code matter?
Not for this site; the title is tracked by its post number.
Is Jav.Guru verified?
Not yet. It is marked beta until a real test shows subtitles.
Which servers do the STREAM buttons offer?
The buttons depend on the title and change the frame that loads. Whichever you choose, the title stays the same, because it is tracked from the page address and not from the frame.
Why did the badge appear on one frame but not the next?
The extension attaches to the final player frame, so a gateway frame that only has a play button does not get a badge until the real player loads.
Does www.jav.guru work?
Yes. It redirects to jav.guru, which is the address the adapter uses.
Will it follow me if I open another post from the related list?
Opening another post loads a new page with a new post number, so the extension starts a new session for it and the earlier subtitles are not carried over.
