What the site is
JAVEnglish (javenglish.cc) is an ordinary WordPress site. Every title has its own page with an address like /video/<product code>-eng-sub-<slug>/, and the product code at the start of the address is what the extension uses to recognise the film. The page itself does not play the film. A tab called Watch Sources lists several players that load from other hosts, mostly streamtape.com, voe.sx and doodstream, and the film runs inside one of those frames.
Are subtitles available?
The site says English subtitles, but the quality and the timing depend on whoever uploaded the title, and some pages carry none. With the extension you do not depend on that: the subtitles are generated from the audio of the player you pressed play on.
How to use the extension on this site
- Install the extension and sign in with your license key.
- Open the video page and start playing.
- Pick the subtitle language, then press the subtitle badge on the player.
- Open a title page, open the Watch Sources tab and press play on one of the sources. The extension recognises the film from the address of the main page, so you do not have to configure anything.
- The main page contains several video elements that are not the film: a VAST ad player, small clips whose names end in _video and that load from ad networks, and a short placeholder file called player.mp4 that lasts a few seconds. The extension marks the ad clips as advertisements and ignores the placeholder, so no badge appears on them.
- The real film sits in an iframe from one of the source hosts. The extension attaches to that frame, but it still uses the address of the main page for the title, because the address of the frame says nothing about which film it is.
- The key is built from the product code when both the address and the page title agree on it, for example JUR-595. If they do not agree, a fallback key made of the site name and the code in the address is used, so two titles never share subtitles.
- The home page and the list pages have no key at all. Start a title from its own page, not from a thumbnail that plays a preview.
- Clicking another title opens a new page, so a new session starts and the lines from the previous film are cleared.
Good to know
- Supported: in the 2026-10-22 test the title was locked correctly on a real page (JUR-595) and the ad clips were flagged as ads. We could not watch the film inside a source frame, because an ad script on the page redirected the browser when we pressed a source tab. Subtitle lines on screen were therefore not observed, and the site is not marked verified.
- If pressing a source tab sends you to an unrelated page, that is the site's own advertising. Go back and try another source; the extension has no control over it.
- Only javenglish.cc is listed. We do not know of a mirror and we did not add one.
Subtitle languages
Choose the target language in the extension: Vietnamese, Indonesian, Spanish and English are the main ones, and the translation API also supports Chinese, Korean, Thai, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian, French, German, Hindi, Arabic and Turkish.
FAQ
Why does the site already say English subtitles, and why would I need this?
Titles on the site are tagged as subtitled, but not every one has working subtitles, and they are not translated into other languages. The extension creates them from the audio and can output Vietnamese, Indonesian, Spanish and the other languages the translation service supports.
Which player frame does it follow?
The one you start. The adapter knows the source hosts used on the site, such as streamtape.com and voe.sx, and attaches to the frame that actually plays the film.
Why do I see no badge on some videos?
Those are ad clips or the placeholder file. The extension deliberately leaves them without a badge so subtitles are only made for the film.
Does it work on the home page?
No. The key comes from a title page address, and the home page has none, so nothing is attached there until you open a title.
Is the site hosted by the extension, and is the video stored?
No. The extension does not host or download video. It draws subtitles on top of the player that the site already provides.
Why is the status Supported and not Verified?
Verified needs a subtitle line seen on screen in a real test. Our last run confirmed the title lock and the ad detection but the source frame never opened, so the lower label stays.
