What the site is
JAVCT (javct.net, with javct.com as a second address) lists titles at addresses like /v/<product code>-<variant>. The film is not in the page. It comes from a frame on another host, trailerhg.xyz, which is a different origin from the site. On top of it there is an element called clickfakeplayer, a dummy player that opens a popup or an ad when you click it.
Are subtitles available?
The site does not provide subtitle tracks that you can rely on. Subtitles are created by the extension from the audio of the player frame.
How to use the extension on this site
- Install the extension and sign in with your license key.
- Open the video page and start playing.
- Pick the subtitle language, then press the subtitle badge on the player.
- Open the title page. The product code at the start of the address, for example ONSG-107, identifies the film.
- Skip the big fake play area. The element named clickfakeplayer is flagged as an ad, so start the film from inside the real player frame, not from that overlay.
- The real film runs in the frame from trailerhg.xyz. The extension attaches to it, but takes the title from the main page and checks that the page markup agrees with the address first.
- Variants matter. A title with a suffix such as -rm in the address is a different edition from the plain one, so it is keyed by the full address with the site name, while a plain title is keyed by its product code.
- Any video in the main page, outside the frame, is considered an ad or a preview. It gets no badge and no subtitles.
- Opening another title loads a new page and a fresh session.
Good to know
- Beta: only saved copies of the pages were checked. We did not open the site in a browser. The page includes a challenge script, so automated tests may be blocked.
- One tab on the page is called trailer. We do not yet know whether the frame behind it plays the full film or only a trailer, and we did not check.
- Whether the frame itself holds ads that behave like real video, and whether the stream needs a referrer, were not examined.
Subtitle languages
Choose the target language in the extension: Vietnamese, Indonesian, Spanish and English are the main ones, and the translation API also supports Chinese, Korean, Thai, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian, French, German, Hindi, Arabic and Turkish.
FAQ
What is the fake player on JAVCT?
It is an overlay element that looks like a play button and opens an ad when you click it. The extension treats it as an advertisement and never attaches subtitles to it.
Why is the site only Beta?
No real browser test has been run on it yet. Only saved pages and unit tests back the adapter.
Does javct.com work too?
It is listed as a second address, but we have only looked at the structure of javct.net.
Why does a title with -rm in the address have different subtitles?
That suffix marks another edition of the film. The adapter keeps editions apart on purpose, so one never inherits the lines of the other.
Does the extension download the film?
No. It does not host or download video. It draws subtitles over the frame the site provides.
