What the site is
AV-TH.io (av-th.io) is a Thai-language WordPress site that collects Japanese adult videos. Post addresses are built from the post title, which may be in Thai script or in Latin letters, so the address on its own says little about which release you are looking at. The film itself does not play in the article: it is embedded in a frame served by av-th.xyz, at an address of the form /video/ followed by a 32-character hexadecimal code.
Are subtitles available?
Because the site is aimed at Thai viewers, any subtitles you meet are more likely to be Thai than English, and many posts have none. MiraiSub does not depend on what the uploader provided. It generates subtitles from the soundtrack and lets you pick the language you want to read.
How to use the extension on this site
- Install the extension and sign in with your license key.
- Open the video page and start playing.
- Pick the subtitle language, then press the subtitle badge on the player.
- Open a post on av-th.io and press play inside the embedded player. The film runs in a frame from av-th.xyz, and that frame is where the extension attaches.
- The 32-character code in the frame address is the identity of the film. Unlike the readable post slug, it stays the same however the title is spelled, so it is the key used for subtitles.
- The frame is only accepted while the page around it belongs to av-th.io. The same player opened directly, or embedded on some other website, does not get a key from this adapter.
- Frames on other hosts, and frames from av-th.xyz whose address is not a /video/ page, are not treated as the player and are left alone.
- The article page itself carries no film video, so it never creates a key of its own. Any clip found there is not mistaken for the film.
- Ads inside the player have not been measured yet, so the adapter does not label anything as an ad by itself; the general filters for ad-network sources and very short clips still run.
- AV-TH.io is an ordinary multi-page site. Opening another post loads a new page with a new frame, and the subtitle session starts over for that film.
Good to know
- Verified: subtitles appeared on a real title during our test on 2026-10-24.
- The adapter knows one site host, av-th.io (subdomains included), and one player host, av-th.xyz. If the site moves its player to a different host, frames there will not be followed until the adapter is updated.
- Post titles and slugs are often in Thai. That does not matter for recognition, because only the code of the embedded video is used.
Subtitle languages
Choose the target language in the extension: Vietnamese, Indonesian, Spanish and English are the main ones, and the translation API also supports Chinese, Korean, Thai, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian, French, German, Hindi, Arabic and Turkish.

Does AV-TH.io have English subtitles?
Rarely. The site targets Thai viewers. MiraiSub produces English subtitles from the audio, independently of what the post includes.
Can I get Thai or another language instead of English?
Yes. Choose the target language in the extension, for example English, Thai, Indonesian, Spanish or another supported language. The source audio is usually Japanese.
Why does the extension care about the av-th.xyz frame and not the post address?
The post address is a free-form title that can change or repeat across posts. The code in the player frame belongs to exactly one video, which makes it a safer key.
Will subtitles appear if I open the av-th.xyz player on its own?
No. The adapter only trusts that frame when the page around it is av-th.io, which confirms where the video was published.
Is AV-TH.io verified?
Yes. In our test on 2026-10-24 subtitle lines showed up on a real title. If a later site change breaks it, a report with the post address helps us fix it quickly.
Do I need to do anything special for the embedded player?
No. Start playback as usual. The extension detects the frame, reads the video code and shows the subtitle badge on the player when it is ready.
