JavRank English subtitles

JavRank has an English-language interface, yet the films themselves rarely come with English subtitles. MiraiSub fills in the dialogue by transcribing the soundtrack and translating it over the JW Player.

What the site is

JavRank (javrank.com) is an adult-video streaming site with an English interface and a mix of Japanese and Korean titles. A film page sits at the root of the site, at an address like /{slug}, where the slug is a romanised version of the title. Lists such as /hot or /categories use the same single-segment shape, so the address alone cannot tell a film from a listing. Playback uses JW Player inside a block called movie-play, and the video element only appears once you press play.

Are subtitles available?

Whether a JavRank title has subtitles, and in which language, varies, and English is not guaranteed. MiraiSub generates subtitles from the audio of any film that plays, in the language you choose.

How to use the extension on this site

  1. Install the extension and sign in with your license key.
  2. Open the video page and start playing.
  3. Pick the subtitle language, then press the subtitle badge on the player.
  • Open a JavRank film page and press play. The JW Player builds its video element after the click, and the extension picks it up at that point.
  • Because film pages and listing pages look alike in the address, the adapter also checks the page: it needs the movie-play block with the JW Player inside it, and an og:url tag with the same slug as the address.
  • When both checks pass, the slug becomes the film key. JavRank slugs do not carry a reliable product code, so no shared code key is used and subtitles stay under JavRank.
  • Video ads that JW Player runs before the film are recognised by the player's own ad flag and skipped. A video whose source is a known ad network is skipped too.
  • Any video outside the media-player box, including the ad frames placed elsewhere on the page, is treated as an ad and never starts a job.
  • Subtitles are drawn inside the media-player box, so they stay attached to the player rather than to the page around it.

Good to know

  • Verified: subtitles appeared on a real JavRank title during our test on 2026-10-24.
  • Only javrank.com is recognised. Pages such as /hot, /categories or category listings never get a badge, even though their addresses look like film addresses.
  • JavRank also lists many Korean titles. The adapter handles them the same way as Japanese ones, but recognition quality can vary with the spoken language.

Subtitle languages

Choose the target language in the extension: Vietnamese, Indonesian, Spanish and English are the main ones, and the translation API also supports Chinese, Korean, Thai, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian, French, German, Hindi, Arabic and Turkish.

FAQ

Does JavRank have English subtitles?

Not reliably, even though the site is in English. MiraiSub creates English subtitles from the audio on any film page that plays.

Does it work on Korean titles too?

The adapter treats Korean and Japanese titles the same way, and subtitles are built from whatever is spoken. Recognition quality can differ between languages, so results may vary.

Why does nothing happen on the /hot page?

It is a listing, not a film. The adapter requires the film player block and a matching og:url before it treats a page as a film.

Will the JW Player ad be transcribed?

No. While JW Player is showing an ad it marks the player with an ad flag, and the extension skips the video during that time.

Is JavRank verified?

Yes. Subtitle lines appeared on a real title in our test on 2026-10-24. If the site changes its layout, please report the page address.

Can I read JavRank in Spanish or Indonesian?

Yes. English, Japanese, Spanish, Indonesian, Vietnamese and the other targets in the extension are all available.

Install the extension

Install once, then open any supported page. Subtitles appear over the player you are already watching.

Dedicated site adapters are part of the full build; the Store build uses the generic video detector.
