What the site is
JavDay (javday.app) is a streaming site for Japanese adult videos. Each film has a watch page at /videos/ followed by an identifier and a closing slash. That identifier is sometimes a product number written without a hyphen, such as ABF378 or 200GANA3475, and sometimes a random eight-character string that has nothing to do with the release. The player is Artplayer with HLS streaming, and it is built straight into the watch page rather than loaded from another website in a frame.
Are subtitles available?
JavDay does not offer a dependable English track, and whether any subtitle exists depends on the release. MiraiSub does not wait for one: it recognises the speech in the audio, translates it, and draws the result over the video while you watch.
How to use the extension on this site
- Install the extension and sign in with your license key.
- Open the video page and start playing.
- Pick the subtitle language, then press the subtitle badge on the player.
- Go to a JavDay watch page, the kind whose address reads /videos/{id}/, and start the film. Home, category and search listings are not film pages, so no badge appears there.
- MiraiSub reads the identifier from the address. Because it can be a random string instead of a real product number, it is used only as a JavDay-specific key and never as a shared product code.
- When the page declares its own address in the og:url tag, that address must point to the same identifier. If the two disagree, the extension stays idle rather than guess which film is playing.
- The player lives in the main page, so the extension never follows any frame on JavDay. Every embedded frame on this site is treated as advertising.
- Pre-roll behaviour has not been measured yet, so the adapter makes no claim about ads inside the player. The general rules still apply: a clip from a known ad network, or anything shorter than about three minutes, is not taken for the film.
- Clicking another title loads a fresh page, which gives the new film a fresh subtitle session with nothing left over from the previous one.
Good to know
- Verified: subtitles appeared on a real JavDay title during our test on 2026-10-23.
- Only javday.app and its subdomains are recognised. A copy of the site on another domain is not covered by this adapter.
- Results depend on the audio. Long silent stretches or loud music can leave gaps where there is nothing to transcribe.
Subtitle languages
Choose the target language in the extension: Vietnamese, Indonesian, Spanish and English are the main ones, and the translation API also supports Chinese, Korean, Thai, Portuguese, Japanese, Russian, French, German, Hindi, Arabic and Turkish.
FAQ
Does JavDay come with English subtitles?
Usually not, and you cannot rely on it per title. MiraiSub generates English lines from the audio on any JavDay film that plays in the page player.
Why are JavDay subtitles not shared with the same film on other sites?
The JavDay identifier is not always a real product number, so the extension cannot safely match it to a release elsewhere. It keeps a separate key for JavDay so a random string can never point to the wrong film.
What happens if the page address and the og:url tag differ?
Nothing starts. A mismatch suggests the page is still changing or shows something unexpected, and the adapter prefers no subtitles over subtitles for the wrong title.
Do banners or frames on JavDay trigger a subtitle job?
No. All frames are ignored, and short or ad-network clips are filtered by the general rules. Only the film in the Artplayer box is followed.
Is JavDay verified or only supported?
Verified. In our test on 2026-10-23 subtitle lines appeared on a real title. Sites change, so if something stops working, please send a report with the page address.
Can I read JavDay in a language other than English?
Yes. The audio is mostly Japanese, and you can choose English, Indonesian, Spanish, Vietnamese or another target offered in the extension.
